Gripen’s modern training system enables safe, effective and efficient conversion-to-type training and is flexible enough to allow refresher training. Based on a “train-the-trainer” concept, the training solution delivers a self-sustaining indigenous capability for future training needs. For example: full multi-role conversion requires only 22 accumulated weeks and 54 accumulated flying hours.
